TWU congratulates Shell Direct members on a great EBA

TWU delegates and members have worked hard to ensure a great EBA for members at Shell Direct. The great win at Shell comes down to high density and a committed negotiating team.

The agreement was signed before the new industrial laws came into place, so the fact that members were able to secure an increase in allowances, 4% increases per year and access to conciliation and arbitration was a great win.

TWU members in the ACT received a dramatic increase in wages under the agreement. Now Shell Direct members can now consult with their employers about rosters which allows greater flexibility for all involved. The TWU will fight to roll these great conditions out through the Oil & Gas industry to lift standards across the transport industry in Australia.
