Health and Safety Representative

The Transport Workers' Union of NSW is an approved Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training provider under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011. We provide HSRs with an initial five-day HSR training course and one-day refresher courses thereafter. Both of these training courses fulfil the training requirements an HSR needs under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011.

TWU joins the campaign against a chop to Illawarra Rescue Service

The TWU joined the campaign alongside industry groups to keep the Illawarra Rescue Helicopters at Albion Park, a service which helps to save hundreds of lives on the road in the area each year.
