After witnessing the fundraising success of the Hills Bus Christmas buses, Paul Stonestreet, a bus driver at Westbus, wanted to do what he could to raise a few extra dollars for the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Paul promised that if he could raise more than $2000 dollars he would shave off his beard.

Paul reached his target and the TWU was at the depot to see the first chop.

“I admire the lengths that Paul has gone to give back to his community. It’s a great cause and one the TWU is always happy to get behind,” Organiser Robert Rasmussen said.

“Many of the drivers at Paul’s depot thought they would never see the day when he would shave off his beard – we think it was well worth the wait.”
